Consider going for a solid wood bedframe, not only is this set sturdy it also has weight capacity of 600 lbs. I also love the wooden panel within the headboard because this detail can be seen in the next two items blanket chest and nightstand table.

If you know me, I’m all about convenance. This storage trunk being located at the foot of the bed can also serve as a bench a place to sit.
